When I started this still life I had three bananas so I figured I better paint this one quickly as this is my breakfast for the next two days.  Nothing like a little motivation to get things done.

 This on is a little late or early if you think about it. I didn't want to post it until after I corrected a few problems I had with a varnish.  It is now ready to go.

My wife cut up an apple to eat and left it on the kitchen counter.  When I saw that the pile of apples on the plate was quite interesting I hijacked it for a painting.  I actually took a photo of the plate and used that with another apple and a jar of peanut butter in my shadow box to complete the painting.  No she did not go hungry!

Pink African Violet

I painted this African  Violet  on a piece of cloth I had been avoiding because of it's complicated print.  Simplifying it helped a lot.
