The Crossing

I tried to work with transparencies in both the objects and cast shadow.  Oil on canvas panel.

Yellow Planter

I started out with the title yellow vase, but decided it wasn't a vase.  Next I thought pot but I didn't want to call it a yellow pot so now I will title this painting Yellow Planter.

Violet Shadows

Another Orange Composition? Yep, and I have more!  I have been doing these orange still lifes since the mid-eighty's and I do promise you I have other themes.  These are where I started after a break in painting.  I am posting what I completed since I started with the smaller 6" x 6" format

Today's painting is a different colored version of yesterdays post with a few compositional changes.  I guess we could play the game of what's different with this picture.

This acrylic painting is one of the first pictures I did after I started this blog in 2009.   I haven't posted anything as I knew I wouldn't be able to post regularly.   Hopefully this will be a good start.
