Red Cup V. 2

This Red Cup is a little larger.  It is 8 X 8 inches on a 12 by 12 inch Gessoed rag mat board.

Delicious

The only thing missing from this painting is peanut butter.  Maybe next time.

Red Cup Version 1.

This is the first version of a red cup and an golden apple.  I do enjoy this color combination.

I finally found time to post again.  I needed to change colors and work the transparencies

Orange Slice V.5

This is the last of the Orange Slices.  It measures 10 inches by 10 inches on a 12 inch square gessoed rag board.

Another version this time I worked with more transparencies.

Another version this time I used Dorland's Wax Medium for a flat finish.

Orange Slice Version 2.

Minor changes with this one.  These  are on 8 x 10 pieces of mat board and can be trimmed to show a little of the extra "flow" or trimmed to the penciled boarder.

Orange Slice

A change in the composition of Orange Delight and a change in the support to the Gessoed mat board.  I use either an all rag mat board or a board made with cotton lintels.  both are acid and lignin free.

A bright One! This one worked out well.

Here is another one on gessoed paper board.  Trying to find the right medium.

Reaching for the Light

Quite a change with subject and scale.  I am going to do do a few more with the gessoed acid free paper board.  It seems to have an interesting surface for oil.
