Cherry Drink

10" x 10" Oil on MDF panel,  Price $85. Still Life (Click to Buy)

I hadn't noticed it before but the cherries could have been the stars of this painting had I painted the stems of the first two cherries on the plate to suggest more of an "O", and then leave the second two forming the "X", and then giving the one off the plate a stem a little bit more of a curve like a "?" mark.  I am glad I didn't.
For everyone's information the light areas by the straw are glare from the lighting used to photograph the painting.
