This oil was first worked out as a sketch on my ipad with ArtRage. I am thinking I will try more sketches this way as it helps work out the layering.

A Couple of Grapes

 When I started this still life the bowl was full of grapes.  As I progressed I had to make the aesthetic decision as to whether the grapes were more important or the shapes behind them.  It was a delicious choice.

The Escape
