I am pretty happy with this one.  I have been trying to loosen up and use larger brushes.

I thought that the jelly jar would be a good second object in this composition.  When I finished I realized that it was a little creepy.  Maybe it's the title that's creepy.  Sorry I couldn't resist being a little creepy I've been in the studio a little too long.

I was on a roll so I did another one of the same still life.  Notice I didn't have any of the wine.
Maybe if I had it would have been a bit too loose.  I do like the shadow of the apple better in this one.

I raided the refrigerator and found this apple and a bottle of wine. I thought the colors were close so I though why not?
