Orange Slice Version 2.
Minor changes with this one. These are on 8 x 10 pieces of mat board and can be trimmed to show a little of the extra "flow" or trimmed to the penciled boarder.

Orange Slice
A change in the composition of Orange Delight and a change in the support to the Gessoed mat board. I use either an all rag mat board or a board made with cotton lintels. both are acid and lignin free.

Orange Delight
You will see more of this composition. I've decided to experiment with other colors, transparencies, and supports. These colors a little strong. the bright blue is a lighter violet.
Welcome! I am a retired art educator that enjoys painting still lifes. I like to use transparent and opaque oil colors to create abstract compositions with interlocking positive and negative shapes. The paintings are for sale on Daily Paintworks. Please check out my gallery and subscribe below to be notified by email about each new post.
